Macalester's Career Development Center is hiring for undergraduate fellows for the 2018-19 class year. We'll hire several students to serve as Divisional Fellows, and new this year we will also College-Wide Fellows who will work across all divisions. CDC staff will work closely with Fellows to plan and collaborate with academic areas. Fellows will assist in planning and promoting jobs, internships, events and campus-wide initiatives too. Individuals will also offer drop-in and scheduled peer advising appointments throughout academic year. Fellows are encouraged to specify divisions based on academic study: Fine Arts & Humanities; Natural Sciences & Mathematics; and Social Sciences.
College-wide Fellows work across all divisions focusing on Career Development Center initiatives:
Marketing, Design & Communications
Demonstrated interest or previous experience in previous experience desired: in public speaking, promotional writing, graphic/web design, and social media a plus.
Data Analytics & Assessment
Demonstrated interest or previous in measurement, data collection to assess effectiveness of programs and services.
Demonstrated interest and experience in event planning, and event management. Skill in presenting and professional correspondence to students, faculty, staff, and external audiences very useful.
