Alum working at Facebook talks tech

The Career Development Center welcomes Alex Whitworth ’08, to campus for a day of events on September 29. As a a data science at Facebook, Alex is part of a team working on products to scientifically measure the effectiveness of advertising on and off Facebook. His projects are a mix of inferential statistics and machine learning.

Alex graduated from Macalester with a major in Economics and a double minor in Math and Statistics and has a Master's from UCLA.

Resume Collection & Drop Off to Facebook HR
2:00 to 2:20pm

This is a drop-in session where Alex will talk with you briefly about your resume. He will collect all resumes and pass along candidates to the Facebook HR department.
