Summer and J-term Fellowships in Public Health

Learn more about two funding opportunities perfect for students interested in public health.  The Mann-Hill Fellowship supports student research or work in biomedicine, health care, public health, global health or community health during the winter break, and the Taylor Public Health Fellowship provides a stipend to cover 9-10 weeks of half-time work in a public health environment during the summer.  Past fellowship recipients will talk about their experiences, and Professor Liz Jansen (Biology; Science and Research Office) will describe the application process.  Light lunch served.

The Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH) host a free graduate school fair for prospective students of public health. This is a great opportunity for prospective graduate and doctoral students to learn about the growing field of public health. The Public Health Graduate School Fair allows prospective students to meet admissions directors from CEPH-accredited schools and programs of public health at one convenient location: University of Minnesota, Coffman Memorial Union.
